ATTENTION!
It has been brought to our attention that our congressional delegates are getting slammed, inundated and overwhelmed with phone calls and emails from Organizing for America (OFA) – asking Senator Barasso, Senator Enzi and Representative Lummis to vote yes for President Obama’s new Health care bill. This organization is infamously known to be a ‘network of volunteers whose mission is to galvanize public support for President Barack Obama and his political and social agendas‘.
Because of this we are asking all citizens to call, email, send faxes, snail mail or flowers to our congressional delegates to Thank them and let them know how much we appreciate them continuing to defend and protect our rights to make our own health care choices. We also encourage you to express your continued support for them as our representatives.
Does it make sense to add to the huge influx of calls, emails, etc? Our rationale is that our delegates and their aides will likely welcome friendly, familiar and true Wyoming voices amongst the electronic attack they are experiencing right now – we need to break the OFA continuum!
While some of us may not agree with all of their decisions all of the time, we must remember that Wyoming citizens and our US Constitution are much better represented and defended in Wyoming than most any other states in the union. Assertion of State Sovereignty (#HJ0002) HAS BEEN SIGNED BY GOVERNOR FREUDENTHAL!!!!!
While we are all ecstatically happy about this and in a (brief) celebratory mood – we have decided to hold back on any champagne until we have completed the work we have set out to to do! This may be 10 years from now… or maybe even 20 – but we are committed to seeing our state sovereignty reestablished on every front and level before we pop that cork!
WAY TO GO WYOMING CITIZENS! You guys & gals are awesome – and it is a continual honor to fight for our rights and liberty with every single one of you!

WE KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN SOONER OR LATER…
Faux “Tea Party” groups and individuals are coming out of the woodwork in an attempt to steal our thunder, ride our coat-tails and hijack our movement back to the status-quo of business as usual and/or their own agendas! Don’t let them fool you!
How do you tell the difference between true Tea Party/Grassroots vs impostors?
- When considering a candidate, true grassroots looks at Values, Principals and Voting Record and not whether there is an (R) or (D) behind a candidate’s name!
- Principals before Personality: Is a group or ‘leader’s’ agenda driven by our Constitutions, freedoms and liberty?….. or by the opportunity to make money, expand contact lists (spam), or build their own ego?
- Has a group or organization tried to keep you consistently informed, or are you just now being approached?
- Are organizations offering their own information or newsletters or are they taking advantage of the labor of others efforts?
- Another way is to look back on this past legislative session and see Who Has Supported What. For example; Assertion of State Sovereignty (#HJ0002). Out of all of the Committee hearings, in both House and Senate, only two Wyoming organizations consistently attended every meeting, offered suggestions for amendments, presented public statements, provided citizen petitions, provided fact related literature to legislators, and consistently fought for this critical resolution… Wyoming Watchdogs ™ (Casper) and Wyoming Patriot Alliance™ (Cheyenne).
- There are also legislators who have/are attempting to use this movement for their own political gain; some who verbally and passionately opposed the Assertion of State Sovereignty on the House and Senate floors, YET VOTED YES when the roll call vote was taken for a permanent record. Those most noteworthy include; Senator Charles Scott, Senator Bill Landen, Senator Floyd Esquibel and Representative Kermit Brown. This grassroots movement is incredibly important and we cannot sit idly by and watch our combined efforts as concerned citizens be diluted down by insincere or opportunistic entities! Some of these impostors have a very real and profound disconnect from Wyoming Citizens and would rather domesticate our grassroots movement into hybrid rose bushes than continue in the same courageous determination and American spirit that Wyoming Citizens are displaying during these crucial times.
We ask that you please use your best judgment and caution when approached by anyone who claims to be grassroots or a Tea Party supporter!

We are getting to a point in our ‘watchdogging’ to realize that some of our efforts will truly be most valuable to folks only within specific counties. For example, folks from Crook County probably won’t want information that only applies to Uinta County residents. In other words, we would like to try to avoid sending out mass emails that would only interest a certain percentage of our contacts. Having said that, we invite each of you to let us know what county you live in to avoid receiving unwanted email. We are not asking for addresses or any personal information, only what county you live in – so that our announcements do not become junk mail.
