Wyoming Watchdogs Endorse Taylor Haynes

Sunday, September 5th, 2010

The Wyoming Watchdogs™ are endorsing Taylor Haynes for governor. He did not get the required signatures for his name to appear on the ballot, so we have been moving forward with a Write-In Campaign.

Be sure to “Get on Taylor’s email list” to get the latest updates, and check back here often for more information.

We need your help and donations to make this happen. Print out the Write him in template and hand them out to everyone you know and ask them to do the same. We have to get the word out now and often.

Remember, 71% of the conservative voters did not vote for Matt Mead. So you can either vote for the party backed by the millionaires, or you can vote for Wyoming and yourselves by voting for the most conservative candidate, Taylor Haynes.

Time is of the essence! We cannot afford not to act.

Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.

Meet the Candidate! Public Q and A with Taylor Haynes Sunday, August 22 at 2PM

Sunday, August 22nd, 2010

Greetings Wyoming Citizens ~

There will be a Question and Answer Public Meeting with Independent Gubernatorial Candidate Taylor H. Haynes, M.D., Sunday August 22nd, at 2PM.

The meeting will be held at the VFW Post at 1800 Bryan Stock Trail in Casper.

We highly recommend that you attend and that you invite your friends and neighbors to join you as well; Dr. Haynes is a strict Constitutionalist whose vision and outlook for Wyoming is very refreshing, comforting and optimistic during these uncertain times.

The hosting of this public meeting is a combined effort of the Wyoming 912 Project/Wyoming Watchdogs and the Wyoming 912 Coalition.

(We will need help setting up (and restacking) chairs for a very large crowd.  Any strong men that can come early to help would be most appreciated!)

Petition Drive

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

Many Americans today are extremely concerned about our great country. This concern is what the Tea Party movement has been all about. Tea Party Organizations and Grassroots groups’ nationwide hold these primary beliefs in common — that the answer lies within the enforcement of both our U.S. and State Constitutions and that citizens must become personally involved in their government. The Wyoming Watchdogs is one of these grassroots groups and they believe that Wyoming Citizens deserve to have all the choices on the table when voting for their governor in November. Wyoming Watchdogs is sponsoring a petition-drive for citizens to have the opportunity to request, through their signature, a final candidate for November’s election. If you would like to see all of the options on the table for your vote in November please go to the following locations to sign the petition for an additional Constitutional candidate.

XXXXXXXXXX

P.O. Box 714

Casper, WY 82602

Dear XXXXXXX:

It is our pleasure to award the 2010 Salvatori Prize for American Citizenship to the citizen-patriots of the Tea Party Movement.  Born in Italy, Henry Salvatori founded the Western Geophysical Company, which he built into one of the most successful enterprises in the world. He is best known as one of the original members of Ronald Reagan’s “Kitchen Cabinet,” having served him as a trusted advisor for over two decades. Less known is Salvatori’s sustained patronage of academic institutions and programs supporting the education of American youth and the strengthening of American citizenship.

Henry Salvatori devoted his life to strengthening the foundations of American liberty that each generation of citizens must renew and fortify and which, to Ronald Reagan and millions of Americans, make this nation a “shining City on a Hill.”

Through the generosity of Mr. Salvatori, an endowment was created at The Heritage Foundation to promote our nation’s common dedication to the principles of the American Founding and encourage an enlightened patriotism in the United States. The cornerstone of this endowment is an annual prize of $25,000, to be given to an American citizen who upholds these principles, embodies the virtues of character and mind that animated America’s Founders, and exemplifies the spirit of independent and entrepreneurial citizenship in the United States.

Previous recipients of the Prize have included author David McCullough (2009), Princeton University professor Robert P. George (2008), and the founders of the Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies (2007).

This year, because of the significance of the Tea Party movement—bringing America’s first principles to the fore of public debate, motivating millions of their fellow Americans to get involved in the effort to revive those principles, and reinvigorating the larger movement in the United States to reorient American politics toward those principles—the 2010 Henry Salvatori Prize for American Citizenship has been awarded to the Tea Party movement, and honors all those American citizens nationwide who are newly committed to the renewal of American liberty.

Appropriate for a spontaneous, nationwide movement, the Prize does not recognize any one individual or group. Instead, the award will be used to deepen a commitment to and advocacy of America’s first principles through the popular distribution of pocket Constitutions and educational materials, and by providing the First Principles Collection of monographs and books to Tea Party leaders like you throughout the United States.

More than ever, we must rediscover for ourselves and reteach our fellow citizens the principles of liberty and constitutional government so that we can get our nation back on track. We at The Heritage Foundation are honored to be a part of this effort, having launched a nationwide First Principles Initiative to reorient American politics to our founding principles. We look forward to working with you in this, the common cause of our beloved country.

Your fellow patriot,

(Signature)
Edwin J. Feulner, Ph.D. President
